Louise Hay teaches that the most powerful way to move into unconditional Self-love is to end Self-criticism and accept yourself exactly as you are in the present moment.
Then move into Self-forgiveness. You were only capable of what you were capable of at that time so let go of the past. Acknowledge that you have expanded and are changing now.
Stop filling yourself with fear by filling your mind with scary thoughts. Make a decision to replace fearful thoughts with pleasant thoughts.
Give yourself compassion by being kind and gentle with yourself. You are willing to be compassionate with others. Now direct that onto yourself.
Acknowledge your goodness, your good thoughts and your good deeds. Pat yourself on the back. Give yourself the praise you deserve.
Open to the love and support of others. Accept help when you need it and be grateful for that.
See what you judge as negative in yourself as simply something you needed at the time to support yourself. You had a need that you fulfilled. Now you see a different way to fulfill that need.
Cherish your body by giving it what it needs; the best nutrition and exercise. Love your physicality.
Always make time for fun and joy and expansion.
Always love yourself now. Don’t wait for the success or the relationship or the money.
